A low contrast test is a special way to measure how well eyes function in low light situations and/or are able to distinguish objects from similarly colored or shaded backgrounds. Testing is identical to the measurement of visual acuity at high contrast levels. The 2.5% test is the most practical test in clinical use. These charts can either be wall mounted or used in an ESV1200, ESV1500, or a Model A+ illuminated cabinet. Available in 5 Contrast levels: 1.25%, 2.5%, 5%, 10%, and 25%.
The line sizes on these charts range from 10/63 to 10/4 (3/19 to 3/1.2).
The other equivalents featured on these chart are letter size, 20 foot, 6 meter, decimal, and LogMAR.
Includes recording forms and instructions.
Test distance: 10 feet/3 meters.
